Sprint to Offer Loyalty Plan for Apple iPhone 6 & iPhone 5S

Sprint to Offer Loyalty Plan for Apple iPhone 6 & iPhone 5S Sprint Apple iPhone 6 300x225Sprint has recently come up with a pretty interesting deal for loyal Apple customers. The telecommunications company has decided to offer a 12-month lease plan for the iPhone 6 starting at $80 a month, and use it until Apple releases its next flagship handset.

This offer is actually pretty interesting, and it’s a way to attract a huge customer base to Sprint’s business. Apple has one of the biggest customer bases in the tech industry, so it’s not a big surprise when they pull off such a high volume of sales annually. Sprint’s loyalty deal has a few strings attached, so it’s important to fully understand how it works before you plunge into it. As stated above, you get to pay a certain sum every month for 12-24 months before you can choose to receive a new device in exchange for the old one.
Other plans include ‘iPhone for Life’, where you can get an iPhone 5S for 24 months starting at $70 a month. The iPhone 6 plan ranges from $30 per month for the 16GB variant to $45 for the 128GB version. To increase the cost of this deal, you also have to pay $50 per month for unlimited talk, text and data. The way Sprint’s loyalty program works is that a customer gets one of Apple’s flagships to use monthly, like a data plan for instance. You get to pay a set sum each month for using the phone, but you don’t directly own the phone. At the end of the contract, you can choose between jumping to the next flagship, or keeping the current one.
Sprint’s loyalty plan is an impressive one, bringing lots of new elements to existing offers in order to compete with other US retailers. The competition is always fierce, and often won by those who are willing to innovate and bring something new to the table. Either way, we’re curious how this will play out for Sprint, and whether customers will be attracted to this new deal. In the meantime, we’d love to see what you think about their loyalty program, so please leave a comment.
