Performace of iOS 8.1 on iPhone5

In late September, just a few weeks after iOS 8.0 came out of the beta program, Apple released iOS 8.1 beta. Apple did not attach a public iOS 8.1 release date to the beta leaving consumers wondering when the update would arrive. iPhone and iPad users put great importance on iOS 8.1 release due to a number of iOS 8.0 issues and iOS 8.0.2 issues on board Apple’s iOS 8 update.

Last week, Apple announced a public iOS 8.1 release date, confirming the update for Monday, October 20th. Two days ago, as promised, Apple released the iOS 8.1 update for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The iOS 8.1 update is a sizable upgrade that comes packed with new features and fixes for those touting iOS 8 powered devices. It also appears to have some bugs of its own on board.

Apple realeased latest update for iPhones , iOS 8.1. Using iPhone 5 on iOS 8.1 was like living in the  hell situation.  Apple’s iPhone 5 was working great with iOS 7.1.2 on board. The iOS 8.0 and iOS 8.0.2 updates caused some issues for many iPhone 5 users, ourselves included, so we were hopeful that iOS 8.1 would return to the device to its iOS 7 form. So far, that hasn’t happened, at least not for us.
Battery  fast draining, App Crashing, Slow battery charging and lot of more bugs were on iPhone beacuse of iOS 8 and iOS 8.0.2. So, I thought this will change if i install latest update on my old iPhone . Installing iOS 8.1 update on iPhone 5 , the experiance is not so changed. Because of ios 8 there are better performace of apps tough but still battery drain is still there. iOS 8.1 drinks all juice of battery instantly. An iPhone 5 user told us that his iMessages stopped sending immediately after installing the iOS 8.1 update.
We’re also hearing about Wi-Fi issues including Wi-Fi speeds mysteriously being throttled on the iPhone 5s and iPhone 6 in addition to erratic connection speeds. Those are, unfortunately, just the tip of the iceberg.
                                       iOS 7 was quite faster on using iPhone 5 , experiance was quite good , best. Whereas teasting latest OS on same device is not so good . Impression of  iOS 8 on iPhone 5, 4s is horrified . If you using this iPhones then don't upgrade to the latest OS.
