Upcoming Smartwatches in 2014


The technology is world is always emerging towards a brighter future, but what can be expected? Their is more out there than the expected. A long time ago, the smartphones were invented and what was the consequence? They took over the world and that was something savvy. The smartphones have made most of the STD, ISD booths extinct. Also, there is much more to stay in touch, even you are very far from your dear ones. Skype is there, Google+ Hangouts are there and Facebook video calling is an another alternative to this. Apart from these, what we saw last year getting innovated? Yes, Smartwatches.
A few years back, no one has thought about the smartwatches, There were some rumors and baloney and now this thing is real. Last year, Samsung Galaxy Gear was announced. It’ successor is going to arrive later this year, but who else is going to accompany it? So, here we are going to discuss about the upcoming smartwatches in 2014.

1.Apple iWatch


Apple has innovated many things, but from a couple of years we are seeing Apple going a little down. They have not introduced phablet sized iPhone when, every other company was. Firstly, they thought that they are going to survive, but ultimately the users demanded and now, they are producing Apple iPhone 6. So, just like this the Cupertino tech giant have to enter the wearable’s market.
Apple is preparing a smartwatch and it is going to be named as Apple iWatch. This is what everyone knows, but you should know something more. This smartwatch can be introduced in two variants–Apple iWatch S and Apple iWatch C, This is an another rumor which was made yesterday and at this point of time no one knows about the truth. Anyway, Apple iWatch is going to do bring some good features.

2. Microsoft Smartwatch


The smartwatch lineup for 2014 is really big. Along with the upcoming iWatch you can also see Microsoft’s smartwatch running on the Windows operating system. It will Windows Phone 8.1 operating system precisely. This smartwatch will have a button in the center.
Microsoft developed smartwatch will also be able to make calls, receive texts and do much more. There are no rumors regarding the projector, so, we are not sure about it. Anyway, there is one more thing to note. Nokia is also developing a smartwatch. As you guys know, Microsoft has acquired Nokia and thus, we think that Microsoft will be the developer and Nokia will be the publisher.

3. Google Nexus Smartwatch


The search giant has entered in most of the tech field and this company also likes innovation. Last year, we saw Google Glass, which will be released this year and it didn’t get admired by everyone. So, will theGoogle Nexus Smartwatch? Time will tell us,
In 2013, we heard that the Big G is producing a smartwatch and it will be put under it’s Nexus brand, which has already sold smartphones an tablets. This smartwatch will also be running on Android, but it will give you the Nexus feel. It is sure that, you will get some premium Google Apps like GMail, YouTube and many more under the hood. You can get Google Maps also. So, it will be an another wearable device from the company after Google Glass. There are no details regarding it’s availability, but we will find more in the future.
