Panasonic details Firefox OS TV at CES 2014

Mozilla revealed their Firefox OS last year and it became the next big thing for the mobile Operating systems but it looks like that Mozilla doesn’t wants to limit the OS to mobile and tablets and that’s why it has expanded the horizon to TVs. In CES 2014, Panasonic has announced that their upcoming TVs will run on Firefox OS.
Since most of the Webcontrol TVs are going to run on Internet, hence it would be easy to use this OS for the upcoming Panasonic Televisions. In order to open Webpages, Software tweaks are required but there is no need for Hardware configuration. Not only that they can easily customize the remote control module and can change the User Interface.
Panasonic hasn’t revealed anything from the Hardware portion like What will be the size of the TV or What type of display it will have? But Firefox OS will be included for sure. We can see these TVs coming by the end of the year.
