Google's Self Driving Car

What's it like and is it safe  ?

The Google self- driving car which looks like Tata Nano works on sensors .

The car comes with steering wheel ofcourse , accelerator pedal , or breake pedal, as car driver won't need any of it . in the bid to enter in uber-modern era , do we need a self driving car?
Google always busy in making some unique and extraordinary technology , and here they are with some modern new era idea , that is self driving compact car.
As per googles point of view, they point towards some numerical data i.e 1.2 million people lose their lives due to traffic- related incidents , and more than 90 percent of  these accidents due to human error .
But is it safe to give steering to the car itself?
With the help of sensors car - software computer fitted in the car like robot can manage to see is there any obstacle or any thing living or non living thing is  in front of car . It will act like ears and eyes of human driver .
It  uses laser as senser , it can dtects if cyclist is in the bike len or so on. 
Softwere is also designed to offer utmost safety . It gauges how close it is to other object , matches speed with traffic ,and also anticipates other vehical cutting i.
Isn't it so smart technology , currently Google is testing it in USA . If technology develops , Google may also work with partners to bring this technology into the world safely , under recognised brands.
